About the Company

4-RAIL Services Limited is a leading UK based scientific consultancy, testing and inspection company. Our team includes highly trained and skilled professionals with degrees or postgraduate qualifications in chemistry, biochemistry, environmental science, engineering materials and meteorology, whilst holding industry specific qualifications and competencies in asbestos, hazardous materials, noise and vibration, and safety.

We pride ourselves on having a client focused approach. The relationships we forge with our clients leads to an in-depth understanding of their requirements and expectations, enabling us to provide the highest quality of service.

Operating from our London offices and laboratory in the south east of England, we deliver services and solutions to many of the UK’s leading companies working in the construction, civil engineering, transport and utility sectors. Ideally engaged in the early stages of a project, we are able to contribute towards cost reduction and safety planning with our clients. We regularly put together teams with specialist expertise and knowledge to support our client’s needs.

4-RAIL Services Limited were formed following the closure of London Underground’s Technology Services in 1997, (formerly London Underground’s Scientific Services). The wealth of knowledge and skills obtained when working in the environmental and materials departments of LUL Technology Services was transferred and has been successfully utilised. This has allowed us to build on and develop the range of services to meet changing client requirements.
