Following its inception in 1997, one of 4-RAIL Services Limited’s first goals was to achieve independent accreditation of its testing activities and management systems by NAMAS (now UKAS). This was successfully achieved in 1999 and the scope of testing activities covered has regularly been expanded to meet client’s ever developing needs.

In 2001 4-RAIL Services participated in the UKAS Inspection Body pilot scheme for asbestos surveying, in the process becoming one of the first holders of this accreditation in the field. Continual improvement is a fundamental principal of our management system and we are currently working to streamline our systems by adopting an integrated management system.
