Railway Working

Senior members of staff have extensive understanding of working on the railway, and unrivalled experience of London Underground (LU) infrastructure. Knowledge and experience has been gained in every sector of the railway: permanent way or track, stations and premises including control rooms, signals and electrical, substations and generating stations, depots and rolling stock.

Network Rail Trained staff hold Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification for accessing and working on Network Rail track and infrastructure.

Docklands Light Railway Trained staff hold Track Awareness certification for accessing and working on the Docklands Light Railway

East London Line Inductions held by competent Technologists and Consultants.

London Underground For accessing London Underground locations, Consultants are familiar with arranging access SABRE numbers, Operational Assurance Notification (OAN) and Movement of Materials Licenses for carrying equipment on escalators. They also have experience in liaising with LU Group Station Managers as part of project teams, and the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) when arranging sheeting or hoarding that enhances ventilation through worksites.

Staff hold London Underground specific training e.g. Entry Permits, Protection Master (Engineering Hours) - licensed by LU accreditation / registration number 17, Site Person in Charge, Track Trolley Operator, Track Accustomed/Competent, Depot Track Accustomed/ Competent and Depot Inductions (various), Fire Awareness and Fire Watchman, Substation Entry Permits, Lift & Escalator Machine Chamber (L&E) access passes, and Equipment Room Awareness (QAF54).

Staff have received safety training from Tubelines and TfL (formerly Metronet): PWay and Stations Induction, and Passport to Safety, respectively. Staff have safety training from Balfour Beatty Rail Division for working in possessions.
