Independent air quality survey completed by Costain Skanska Joint Venture and 4-Rail Services Limited (4RS) is discussed at The London Assembly
Date: Wed 18th December 2019Yesterday The London Assembly discussed air quality on the Crossrail project focusing on findings of the independent air quality survey completed by Costain Skanska Joint Venture and 4-Rail Services Ltd.
Mark Wild, Chief Executive of Crossrail Limited, presented to the Transport Committee (Crossrail Update 17.12.19) details of the continued independent testing at Bond Street by 4-RAIL Services Ltd (4RS) who undertake air quality testing across Transport for London. He reported back to the committee that there was ‘no evidence of anything out of the ordinary’ after concerns have been raised about dust levels on site.
4-Rail Services Ltd (4RS) will continue to measure air quality at Bond Street and testing will be rolled out to every station. The importance of tier one contractors refreshing their dust management plans was raised as well as completing independent reviews and testing of dust levels on all work sites.
