Asbestos
Breathing in air containing asbestos dust can lead to asbestos related cancers of the chest and lungs.
There is no cure for asbestos related diseases, which kill more people than any other single work related cause. Each year around 4000 people in the UK die of asbestos related illnesses and this number is expected to go on rising.
In accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, the duty holder has a responsibility to manage the risk from asbestos through identification of asbestos containing materials; determination of risk from asbestos containing materials; devising Asbestos Management Plans; monitoring and maintaining asbestos and disseminating information relating to asbestos to those that require it.
We offer comprehensive services relating to asbestos identification and sampling, surveys, air monitoring, management plans, training and emergency support.
